This Great Blue Heron was a pleasant surprise while enjoying the scenery from a bridge within the Elora Gorge Conservation Area. Image taken in the spring of 2022. This scenic area is located at the western edge of Elora, Ontario. The Grand River runs through the gorge and offers cliffs of up to 72 feet in spots!
