While trying to get a closer shot above of a heron at the base of the Elora Gorge (See image "A Herons Habitat"), I heard two geese honking like crazy. Needless to say, the geese gave me away and the Great Blue Heron was alerted there was a stranger in its habitat. Although it flew away, in a short while the geese returned and to my pleasant surprise they had company! Five precious little goslings led by mom. It reminded me of the delicate circle of life that is born in spring.
