Quote- "I can relate to darkness but I REFUSE to become it." –Jennifer Breen
One of my best selling prints thus far–this moment was captured while visiting the historical Guelph Reformatory prison quarry for the first time in the spring of 2021 during the COVID lockdown. My eye happened to spot this beautiful red feather laying there as if it had been purposely placed. It seemed to emit a vibrancy against the contrasting grey and black rock chiselled from the prisoners (some of whom I have been told by a local were later proven innocent). I was suddenly inspired to create the quote above to complete my interpretation of my visit and what I was struggling with at the time.
