Built in 1881, The West Montrose Covered Bridge is known as the ‘The Kissing Bridge.' Early travellers would sneak a private kiss as they rode their horse and buggy through. It has stood the test of time as a historical passage overtop of the Grand River in West Montrose–a rural community in Woolwich Township in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo It is also on the Canadian Register of Historic Places. Today, locals and tourists cross the bridge by wheel, foot, and horse.

I captured this side profile of the bridge while stopping to admire it for the first time in September of 2021. Unlike my other print collage of the bridge "The Red Gem of Montrose," I wanted to create a different angle and profile of the depth and zoom in on the craftsmanship of the outside grandeur of this magnificent gem! Also available as a canvas print.

Art printed on aluminum dibond looks amazing and lasts a lifetime. Colours are highly saturated, even in large monochrome areas. The print is matte and glare-free. The white and bright areas have a faint silky gloss.
